Jack and I went up to northern Califronia for two days. I taught some awesome classes and Jack had a chance to spend some quality time with his Dad.
Sitting in the backseat listening to Father and son talk sure did give me some good insight...as they say. "The apple does not fall far from the tree"
(I will tell you a secret.) I have a little crush on his dad. He was our chauffer for the the day.
Here he is, sleeping on the job. (Yes, I did get his permission to post this picture)
This picture is priceless, blurry and all.
After lunch we wandered around in downtown Los Gatos....and this window stopped me in my tracks.
Vintages was filled with awesome little glittery treasures.
There was a TON of glittered yummy-ness, pure eye candy!
and if the glittery baubles weren't enough to hold my attention, the ribbon sure was.
After a few hours wandering around town I went back to Memories Live On for my second class of the day. This time I was smart enough to break out my camera and snap a few pictures. (my New Years Resolution is to take more pictures when i am on the road!)
Enjoying each other, and the "process"
Gettin' everyone hooked on my favorite inks. If Ranger ever quits making the inks, I will be in the corner cutting rags!
My Ecclect-ti-ka Chipboard looks amazing inked and glittered.
I get so inspired watching the ladies creating, exploring, enjoying the process. I love listening, watching, guiding(just enough) for everyone to have the confidence to try new techniques, and take what they learned and put their own twist on it.
Teaching allows me to meet such wonderful women. I walked away from this class feeling like i have known these women for years. I am quite sure we will hang out and create together again...right ladies?
